During our field trip to Wai'anae Field School, we were able to cook our own food in Miss F’s classroom kitchen. During our time there, we were able to prepare tapioca chips, sweet potato mash, inamona, kalua pig and a salsa for the chips. There we learned how to cook, or how to cook with others. Working together we learned many values such as being safe & taking care of others and yourself (Malama), working together (Lokahi), responsibility (Kuleana), and perseverance (Ho’omau).
