summer 2016
2016 marks the 4th year of the program! We have welcomed students and teachers from Nānākuli High & Intermediate School (NHIS) and Ka Waihona o ka Nā'auao, grades 7-10. We are serving nearly 40 students in this summer program, which runs from June 9 to July 15. As students complete the classroom and field lessons, they are pondering the following Essential Question: What is the role of the 21st century konohiki ('aina managers) in the Wai'anae moku and in other communities?
The program hōʻike (final exhibition and celebration) will be held on Friday, July 15 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at NHIS. Please contact us for more information and join us!
